Known for its pan-Asian cuisine, the Wagamama, a global restaurant brand, is moving its U.S. headquarters from New York City to Tampa.

TAMPA, FL — Wagamama, a global restaurant brand known for a modern take on Asian cuisine, is moving its U.S. headquarters from New York City to Florida.

Its new Tampa address, starting Dec. 1, will be at 1408 N. Westshore Blvd., Suite 200. The new office will staff 15 to 20 employees.

The new headquarters is part of “the company’s next phase of strategic growth,” according to a news release.

The move builds on Wagamama’s presence in the Tampa Bay area after it opened its Water Street Tampa location in early 2023. This was the company’s first restaurant in Florida.

“Relocating to Tampa positions us for long-term growth,” Stephen Judge, CEO of Wagamama USA, said. “It allows us to continue building a world-class team and strengthen the foundations required for disciplined expansion.”
