Woman, 26, Dies After Tampa Pedestrian Crash
A 26-year-old Tampa woman died Tuesday following a pedestrian crash on Nebraska Avenue near Hillsborough.

TAMPA, FL — A 26-year-old Tampa woman is dead following a Tuesday afternoon crash on Nebraska Avenue.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Sara Jean Hufford was crossing Nebraska Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Sept. 26 when she was hit by a truck. Witnesses told police, the truck, driven by Rodney Dewayne Davis, 50, of Brandon was heading east on Hillsborough Avenue before the crash. Davis turned right to head south on Nebraska Avenue when Hufford walked into the truck, an email from the police department said. Hufford was critically injured in the crash and died later from her injuries.
