TAMPA, FL — University of South Florida police said Saturday they suspect the 25-year-old Port Richey woman who fell from a university parking garage a day earlier took her own life.

"She was a University of Florida graduate student completing her studies at Moffitt Cancer Hospital," University of South Florida police said. "Details of the investigation revealed she had been experiencing personal stress, which might have led her to the decision to take her own life."

The woman fell from an upper level of the Richard A. Beard Parking Facility, which is located at 3800 USF Alumni Drive. The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. Friday.
