• New Fitness Court Opens at Veterans Memorial Park (hernandosun.com) — A new National Fitness Court has opened at Veterans Memorial Park on Spring Hill Drive, giving Spring Hill residents free access to a full outdoor workout space. Designed for ages 14 and up, the court offers seven exercise stations, app-based coaching, and is part of a broader Hernando County effort to promote health and wellness through partnerships with Tampa General Hospital and the National Fitness Campaign. 
• Melrose Foundation funds GCSAA show for 18; GCSAA updates BMP tool (turfnet.com) — A Spring Hill golf course professional, Jeremiah Mincey of Black Diamond Ranch, has been selected for the 2026 Melrose Leadership Academy, earning a funded trip to the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in Orlando.
