1 Killed In Motorcycle Crash On 34th Street N: Police
A 2-vehicle wreck occurred Friday night that the St. Petersburg police investigated near 38th Avenue North.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A motorcyclist died Friday night in a crash with an SUV on 34th Street North, a St. Pete police news release said.
The 39-year-old victim headed eastbound on 38th Avenue North at 1030 p.m. At the same time, a red Chevy Traverse drove westbound on 38th Avenue North, police said.
As the victim drove the black Harley Davidson toward 34th Street North, according to investigators, that's when the Traverse driver turned left onto 34th Street North in front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist crashed into the front passenger corner of the Traverse.

Medical staff pronounced the victim dead at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, the news release said.
The victim's name will not be released by St. Pete police until his next of kin are notified.

Police said the SUV driver did not suffer any injuries.
