2 People Needed To Serve On St. Pete's Small Business Committee
The deadline to apply is July 7, according to St. Pete officials.
ST. PETE, FL — The City of St. Petersburg is seeking two residents to serve on the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Committee.
The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program is intended to enhance contracting and procurement opportunities for small business enterprises, city officials said.
The SBE committee uses participation percentages or a sheltered market to maximize SBE participation in construction projects of $50,000 or more, excluding construction projects being completed pursuant to a job order contract.

The SBE committee, comprised of seven members, consists of five people holding city staff positions; one city resident appointed by the mayor for a term of two years; and one city resident appointed by the city council chair for a term of two years.
Interested applicants can apply at stpete.org/SBE_Committee by July 7.
