1 Man Airlifted To Local Trauma Unit Following St. Pete Bar Shooting, 1 Other Injured
Two men were injured by gunshot wounds during an argument early Wednesday morning at 34th Street North bar in St. Petersburg.
ST. PETE, FL — Police have begun investigating a shooting at a St. Petersburg bar on 34th Street North that occurred early Wednesday morning, a St. Pete police news release said.
Two men were in a fight at Jimmy's Sports Bar in the 3500 block of 34th Street North just after midnight when both men got shot. Following the shooting, a medical helicopter took one man to a local trauma hospital, and an ambulance took the other man to a local hospital, detectives said.
Medical staff last told police that the victims have non-life-threatening injuries.
