St. Pete Police Investigating Tuesday Night Gunshots That Injured Two Victims

Cops are investigating a shooting that occurred in South St. Petersburg that seriously injured one boy, and wounded another Tuesday night.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Two 15-year-old St. Petersburg boys were shot Tuesday night in an alley near 40th Street South, St. Pete police said.

Medical staff at a local hospital last reported one teenager in serious but stable condition, and the other boy experienced a superficial graze wound from a bullet, according to police.

Detectives are investigating, and no one is in custody as of 10:30 Tuesday night, officers said.

The victims were shot just before 8:25 p.m. in an alley near 1230 40th Street South, St. Petersburg, detectives said.

No other information has been released by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
