2017 Mainsail Art Festival Performers Announced
The annual St. Petersburg event will features live acts from reggae to bluegrass.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – One of the largest cultural events in the area is also home to one of the most eclectic music lineups as well.
The 2017 Mainsail Art Festival announced this year’s lineup for the event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg. More than 100,000 visitors attend the annual fine arts festival where artists compete for $60,000 in prize money.
This year’s bands at the Mainsail Art Festival vary greatly in style, from funky Bohemian to a popular marching band. This year’s lineup includes:

Saturday, April 22
- Noon – Jah Movement Reggae Band, winners of Creative Loafing’s 2016 Best Local Reggae Band
- 1:30 p.m. – Shevonne, singer/songwriter
- 3 p.m. – Mad Dogs: The Joe Cocker Experience
- 4:30 p.m. – Souliz, winners of the 2016 Suncoast Blues Challenge
- Strolling entertainment – Barnaby the Magician and George Aldrich the Minstrel
Sunday, April 23
- 11:30 a.m. – Flow Sisters, combining funk, soul R&B and psychedelic fusion
- 2:15 p.m. – Mitch Lind & The Lagerheads, original and traditional bluegrass
- 3:45 p.m. – Damon Fowler, Americana-themed gospel
- Strolling entertainment – Deanna the Mime, Barnaby the Magician and George Aldrich the Minstrel
