650 Concrete Trucks To Converge On Downtown St. Pete This Weekend
Downtown St. Pete could experience traffic congestion this weekend as 650 concrete trucks pour concrete at The Residences at 400 Central.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Traffic congestion is expected in downtown St. Petersburg this weekend as 650 concrete trucks converge on the area to pour concrete at The Residences at 400 Central.
The trucks will begin making their way downtown Friday at 7 p.m. and should be done with their work by Saturday at 6 p.m., according to a news release from the city.
Affected thoroughfares include Central Avenue and 1st Avenue South and 4th Street and 5th Street, both north and south.

“While no lane closures are anticipated, some instances of blocked lanes or congestion can be expected as trucks drive to and from the construction site,” according to the news release. “The City of St. Petersburg has worked with the developer to attempt to mitigate any inconvenience and appreciates the public's patience and cooperation.”
