Airbnb Names Most Wanted Listings In Tampa Bay

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Airbnb has released a report on the No. 1 most-wanted listings for Tampa Bay and Florida's other counties.

For this report, Airbnb tabulated and added up hundreds of thousands of users' saved wish lists to establish which listing in each county was the most preferred. Airbnb’s “wish-list” function allows users to save the listings they most desire when planning trips.

Favorites listings in Florida include urban centers as well as tranquil rural areas.

Top listings for Tampa Bay are:

• Manatee -- Hidden Paradise $65 per night
• Hillsborough -- Charming Private Guest House $71 per night
• Sarasota -- Tropical Escape $118 per night
• Polk -- 7- by 18-foot Lakeside Tiny House $46 per night
• Pasco -- Canal Efficiency on Gulf of Mexico $55 per night
• Pinellas -- Cozy private suite $70 per night

More than 40,000 Floridians now share their homes or vacation rentals through Airbnb.
