C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs Gives Vaccines To All Veterans
Veterans who receive care at the C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines, the VA said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — All veterans who receive care at the C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs medical campus are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines, the VA said in a text message sent to its veterans on file.
The text message sent from 53079 (VA) instructs veterans who wish to schedule an appointment to reply to the message with a date and time within the date range provided.
Text messages from the VA with vaccine appointment invites will always come from 53079, according to the VA's website. Emails will always come from a va.gov email address.

The VA said it will contact every eligible veteran. Veterans will not be required to sign up for a vaccine through the VA. However, if you would like to sign up to receive additional information about how VA locations in other parts of the country are distributing vaccines, visit the VA website.
If you are a veteran who doesn't receive care through the VA, and would like to get a vaccine from C.W. Bill Young, consider the following options: apply for VA health care, schedule a primary care appointment at C.W. Bill Young, make sure your VA.gov profile has current information such as change of address.
