Check Out The Edge District’s New Mint House Apartment-Style Hotel
Mint House St. Petersburg has opened in the Edge District, offering apartment-style hotel rooms and encouraging extended stays.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Mint House St. Petersburg opened its doors in the Edge District on June 1.
The newly constructed property at 77 11th Street N. offers guests 100-apartment-style hotel rooms. Each one has a full kitchen, living and dining areas, a balcony or patio, and in-unit laundry, according to a news release.
Other amenities include a resort-style pool, a wellness-focused fitness center and bike rentals.

With more than 25 locations in major U.S. cities across the country, including Seattle and New York, this is the first Mint House location in the Tampa Bay area. It’s the second Mint House in Florida. The company operates a location in Miami.
While Mint House can be booked for one night, the brand welcomes and encourages extended stays.

“Mint House St. Petersburg — Downtown will cater to both travelers looking to book an apartment-style hotel room for vacation travel, and to locals (or potential locals) who are seeking short term housing — be it traveling nurses, people that have just relocated, or those in between moves from one place to another,” the news release said. “But regardless of whether you're staying a night or six months, each apartment-style hotel room combines the best of both worlds: offering all of the comforts of home (space, full kitchens, laundry, etc.) and all of the luxuries of a hotel (like security, consistency, luxury products and property amenities.)”
