Deputy Fired Following Accusations Of Driving Under The Influence: Cop
A Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputy had the smell of alcohol on her breath after St. Pete police pulled the suspect over Tuesday.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A Pinellas County Sheriff's deputy has been accused by St. Pete police of driving under the influence early Tuesday morning, a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office news release said.
Twenty-six-year-old Shelby Coniglio faces a driving under the influence charge, deputies said.
The sheriff's office administration terminated Coniglio following the arrest, deputies said, which is consistent with Pinellas County Sheriff's Office policy.

According to officers with the St. Petersburg Police Department, authorities pulled Coniglio over at 108th Avenue North and Fourth Street North in St. Petersburg shortly after 1 a.m.
Officers said Coniglio showed signs of impairment by having an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, slurred speech, blank expression, bloodshot/glassy eyes, and was unsteady on her feet.

Police said Coniglio's breath sample showed she had BrAC (Breath Alcohol Content) of .206/.219.
Coniglio was hired by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, on September 10, 2018, deputies said.
According to the sheriff's office, Coniglio worked as a deputy in the patrol operations bureau.
