Easter Brunch
If you want Easter brunch and don’t want to cook it, some St. Petersburg restaurants will open Sunday, March 31, to take care of the preparation.

Several upscale chains with locations around the St. Petersburg area have announced Easter brunch hours as well, including familiar names like Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Several casual restaurants are open for Easter as well, including Applebee’s, Bonefish Grill, The Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, Cracker Barrel, Panera Bread, Perkins, and Texas Roadhouse.
As always, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure the chain locations near you are open.

There are a variety of Easter events, both more secular happenings and religious services, scheduled in the St. Petersburg area over the holiday weekend, including:
Historic Kenwood’s Easter Egg Hunt
Historic Kenwood hosts its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m., at Seminole Park.
Allendale Easter Egg Hunt
Allendale UMC hosts an Easter egg hunt Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, with crafts, games, activities and snacks.
St. Pete Pier Spring Fest & Easter Egg Hunt
This beachfront spring festival at the St. Pete Pier takes place Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and features live music, family-friendly activities, food and more than 20,000 Easter eggs to find.
Easter Jamboree
New Beginning Community Church hosts its third annual Easter Jamboree Saturday, 1:30 to 4 p.m., at Campbell’s Park Rec Center. This partnership with ICARE St. Pete offers free food, games, prizes and more.
Easter Sunrise Service
Allendale UMC, McCabe United Methodist Church and Clearview United Methodist Church are coming together to host Easter sunrise service Sunday, 7 a.m., at Crescent Lake Park.
Immersive Easter Egg Hunt
The Fairgrounds St. Pete hosts an Immersive Easter Egg Hunt Sunday at 2 p.m. Search for surprise-filled eggs and find the golden eggs for a chance to win a free return visit.
