FEMA Assistance Event Scheduled For St. Petersburg
FEMA's Disaster Survival Assistance personnel will be on hand to help residents recover from Hurricane Irma.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Area residents and business owners who are still seeking assistance with property damage or loss directly caused by Hurricane Irma will have a chance for one-on-one help this week.
The Enoch Davis Center, 1111 18th Ave. S., St. Petersburg, will host FEMA Disaster Survival Assistance personnel on Thursday, Oct. 5 and Friday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Disaster Survival Assistance team will be on-hand to answer questions and help residents apply for disaster assistance.

Residents can register for FEMA assistance online at www.disasterassistance.gov or via the FEMA app. The app is available for download through the Apple App store or Google play by searching for FEMA. Residents can also register by calling (800) 621-FEMA, but FEMA recommends calling early or late and be prepared for long hold times.
Residents can get updates on Hurricane Irma recovery efforts by checking the Pinellas County website, www.pinellascounty.org, and county social media accounts by searching the hashtag #PinellasIrma.
