FL Fisherman Reported Missing From Boat: U.S. Coast Guard
A crew member aboard a fishing vessel reported a fisherman missing in waters off Anclote, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A search is underway for fisherman Robert Luca, 44, who was reported missing Monday morning from a boat that was about 82 miles west of Anclote, the U.S. Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg wrote in a social media post.
A crew member aboard the fishing vessel Bearcat contacted watchstanders around 10:30 a.m. to report that Luca was missing.
Coast Guard aircrews were deployed to search for the man.
