Great Weedon Bird Quest is Friday

Weedon Island offers many awesome outdoor opportunities including the Great Weedon Bird Quest on Friday, June 14.

Friday's special two-hour hike helps participants "learn the identifying marks and behaviors of our feathered year-round residents and seasonal visitors while helping us compile an annual checklist of the Preserve’s birds."

The hike, which is recommended for adults, is open to all levels of birding experience. Binoculars and bird guides are available.
