Gulfport Man Faces 8 Counts Of Child Porn Possession: Pinellas County Sheriff

GULFPORT, FL — A Gulfport man was arrested Wednesday and charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving a tip that child porn was being accessed and shared online in Gulfport.

They identified the suspect as Jacob Alexander Van Ardoy, 31, the sheriff’s office said. He was booked into Pinellas County Jail.

The images were of children between the ages of 1 and 13 years old, investigators said.
