Cops Seek Identity Of Driver Accused Of Not Stopping To Aid Bicyclist After Hitting Him
Investigators are searching for the driver of a silver or gray 1999-2004 Nissan Exterra that hit, killed a St. Petersburg man early Sunday.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Carl Budinsky, 43, a victim of a hit-and-run crash on 38th Avenue North early Sunday, has died, a St. Pete police news release said.
Police are still searching for the driver of a silver or gray Nissan Xterra who hit Budinksy from behind as he rode his electronic bicycle, and then immediately drove away just after 4:30 a.m. The incident occurred in the 7800 block of 38th Avenue North.
The Nissan Xterra was made between 1999 to 2004.
