ST. PETERSBURG IS STILL HOT!: Celebrate amazing glass art, wood sculptures, and jazz paintings at the Duncan McClellan Gallery & the St. Pete Hot Glass Workshop. Saturday's event begins at 5:30 p.m. Beer, wine and refreshments will be available for a donation benefiting the gallery school's project.
WEEDON ISLAND GUIDED HIKE: Explore the coastal mangrove and upland ecosystems of the Weedon Island Preserve Saturday at 9 a.m. Learn about the coast environment and early preserve residents on the guided hike. Bring water, snack, a hat and closed-toe shoes.
THE LITTLE MERMAID JR.: The whole family can relive the magic of the Disney tale in this musical performance at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 North W.C.
