Ideal Nutrition enters Tampa Bay market with new store

ST. PETERSBURG, FL, March 14, 2025 – Ideal Nutrition, a leading provider of fresh, chef-prepared meals, is entering the Tampa Bay market with its newest retail location in downtown St. Petersburg. Construction is currently underway at the 1,770-square-foot store, located at 360 2nd Avenue S., on the ground-floor of the Evo apartment building.

The new St. Petersburg store will offer a wide selection of nutritious, ready-to-eat meals designed to fit a variety of dietary lifestyles. Customers can expect high-quality, flavorful meals at an affordable price. The new store will feature a modern, welcoming design, a diverse meal selection, and a seamless grab-and-go experience for customers looking for high-quality, convenient meal options.

In the lease transaction, Stephanie Addis of Colliers represented the tenant, Fresh Blends Cafe, LLC, doing business as Ideal Nutrition. Melissa Riccardi and Lisa McCaffrey, also of Colliers, represented the landlord, American Land Ventures/FrontRange Capital. Zach Feldman of Colliers, based in South Florida, represents Ideal Nutrition as master broker, overseeing commercial real estate strategy for the brand’s expansion throughout the state.

Ideal Nutrition is based in South Florida and has a total of eight existing retail locations in West Palm Beach, Miami, Boca Raton, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Stuart and Gainesville, Fla. The expansion into the Tampa Bay market marks another milestone in Ideal Nutrition’s mission to make healthy eating convenient and accessible to more communities across Florida.

Ideal Nutrition leaders expect the St. Petersburg store to open in Q4 2025.

According to Colliers’ Q4 2024 Tampa Bay Retail Market Report, the Tampa Bay retail market closed Q4 2024 with stable fundamentals despite a slight increase in overall vacancy to 4.4%. Leasing activity remained healthy but moderate compared to previous years, with 1.26 million square feet leased year-to-date. Retail rents continued to rise, supported by limited new construction and sustained tenant demand.
