July Summer Camps Offered To Pinellas Students K-12: Schools

A couple of Pinellas County Schools' upcoming programs include a STEM camp and a moviemaking camp.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Summer camp registration is open for Pinellas County Schools' July programs.

A STEM camp and a moviemaking one are among the many summer camps.

Elementary and middle school students can register for free at both camps, according to officials.

STEM Camp

Many Pinellas County locations will host two one-week STEM camps: July 11-14 and July 18-21.

Some camp areas include New Heights, Fuguitt, and Leila Davis elementary schools.

Students will use the latest STEM resources, camp officials said.

Secondary Movie Making Camp

The Secondary Movie Making Camp begins July 18.

Sixth through ninth-grade students will use digital media tools to create short films, officials said.

Educators will also teach animation filmmaking. The camp is accessible on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Largo High School will provide the one-week camp from July 18-21.
