Kids and Kubs Fall To Younger Half-Century Softball Club

As expected, the younger arms and legs, the speed on the bases, and the lineup proved to be a factor in Half- Century Win.

A battle between tenants occurred on April 29,2025, when the Kids and Kids and St. Petersburg Half-Century Softball Club met in an exhibition game between two Clubs renting the softball field at North Shore Park as their home. The Half-Century members are younger of the two organizations at 50-74. The Three-Quarter-Century Softball Club is a much older contingent of men and women over 75.

More senior members of the 50-74 age of Half-Century members participated against an All-Star contingent of Kids and Kubs.

As expected, the attempt to equalize the younger arms and legs, the speed on the bases, and the lineup proved to be a factor in a 27-14 score favoring the Half-Century Softball Club.
