Kilo Seized During Cocaine House Bust
St. Petersburg police seized a kilo of cocaine, along with ecstasy, marijuana and crack from a 44th Street South home.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 33-year-old St. Petersburg man is facing federal charges after police served a warrant at his 44th Street South home Thursday.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, detectives served the warrant in the 2400 block of 44th Street South around 2 p.m. Aug. 24.

Once inside the home, detectives say they found a kilo of cocaine, 15.5 grams of crack cocaine, 1.63 pounds of marijuana and 8.5 grams of ecstasy.
Chauncey Gregory was brought into custody following the search. He faces federal charges for armed cocaine trafficking, the police department reported. Officers also charged him with a single count of felon in possession of a firearm. In announcing the arrest, the police department called Gregory’s home a “cocaine house.”

Gregory was being held in the Pinellas County Jail on Friday without bond. He has been placed on a federal hold, jail records indicate.
