Man Hit By St. Pete City Vehicle Dies
St. Petersburg Police say the pedestrian struck by a city vehicle on Friday has died from his injuries.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The 61-year-old man struck by a St. Petersburg city vehicle on Friday morning has died from his injuries. Police say Larry Barron’s injuries were initially deemed serious, but he “took a turn for the worse and he succumbed to his injuries” on Saturday.
An investigation into the crash that claimed the St. Petersburg man's life remains active with few details released at this time. The St. Petersburg Police Department said on Friday the crash occurred at Eighth Street and First Avenue South.
Police have not yet identified the driver involved. No further information is available at this time.
