Motorcyclist Flies Off Bike On I-275 In St. Pete, Killed: Troopers
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in St. Petersburg early Monday near 31st Street South.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A motorcyclist died early Monday morning when he flew off his bike on Interstate 275 northbound in St. Petersburg, a Florida Highway Patrol news release said.
The 33-year-old driver of Tampa-whose name FHP won't release-took the 31st Street South exit ramp at 1:45 a.m. and on the curve lost control of his bike, troopers said.
The motorcyclist flew off the bike when it drove over into the median, troopers said.

According to troopers, the body of the motorcyclist hit a guardrail after he was thrown off the bike.
Medical staff pronounced him dead at the crash location, troopers said.

Following the man flying off his bike, it drove over the guardrail and into the inside lane of the southbound entrance ramp.
