Pedestrian Struck By City Vehicle

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a Friday morning serious injury accident involving a city vehicle and a pedestrian.

According to the agency, the crash happened at Eighth Street and First Avenue South. Authorities say a 61-year-old man was injured in the crash. The man, who has not yet been identified, suffered serious injuries, police wrote in an email to media. The man, however, was in stable condition.
