Pinellas Seeks Applicants for Pinellas Park Water Management Board
The Pinellas Park Water Management District covers the City of Pinellas Park and surrounding unincorporated areas.

PINELLAS PARK, FL – Pinellas County residents interested in helping to manage the stormwater drainage system in the Pinellas Park area will have their chance next month.
Pinellas County is currently accepting applications for a three-year appointment to the Pinellas Park Water Management District Board of Directors. The Board has the authority to manage the stormwater drainage system within the City of Pinellas Park and surrounding unincorporated areas within the district’s boundaries.
Applications can be found at www.pinellascounty.org/boards and must be received no later than the close of business on Monday, Oct. 30.

According to Pinellas County, applicants must be a qualified registered voter of the district with an “outstanding reputation for civic pride, interest, integrity, responsibility and business ability.” An officer or employee of any city or county in any capacity, except for elected officials, are prohibited from joining the board.

Pinellas Park Water Management District meetings are held on the third Thursday every other month at the district office, 6460 35th St. N. in Pinellas Park.

The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners will review all applications and make its selection at an upcoming meeting. All materials submitted to Pinellas County are subject to the Florida public records law.
