Plane Returns to Airport After Striking Bird

The bird hit and cracked the jet's windshield.

An Allegiant Air flight bound for Toledo, Ohio, returned to St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport shortly after takeoff after a bird hit the windshield.

The incident delayed the Sunday flight for two hours, as passengers were transferred to another plane, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

They were no injuries.
