Update: Eight People Rushed to Hospital After Morning Bus Crash
Eight people were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries are believed to be serious.

1:30 p.m. Update:
Six passengers were hurt today when the PSTA bus they were riding in collided with a Ford Explorer, police said. The drivers of both vehicles also were taken to the hospital.
None of the injuries is believed to be serious.

Police said the crash happened when the PSTA bus was westbound on 18th Avenue South. It collided with a 2010 Food Explorer heading north on 16th Street.
Both drivers say they thought they had the green light. A final determination of fault will made after the investigating officer has had the opportunity to view surveillance footage from the PSTA bus.
