Public Invited To Discuss Community Garden In South St. Pete CRA
The garden would be on city-owned property in the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Urban gardening is on the rise, and the City of St. Petersburg is looking to bring this concept to the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area.
The city is considering the development of a community garden program on city-owned property within the South St. Pete CRA. One area under consideration is the property located just northwest of the Enoch Davis Recreation Center in the 1600 block of 12th Street South. The six parcels under consideration total just less than an acre in size.
In an effort to gather information from the community, the City of St. Petersburg will host an Information Gathering meeting on the proposed community garden project on Monday, April 17 at the Enoch Davis Recreation Center, Module A, 1111 18th Ave. S.
