St. Pete Library To Celebrate International Games Day

The main branch of the St. Petersburg Library will celebrate with board games and video games.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Let the games begin! The St. Petersburg Main Library is inviting children around the city to get their game on during International Games Day.

The library, located at 3745 Ninth Ave. N., will host its International Games Day event on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to noon for preschoolers and elementary school students and 2 to 3:30 p.m. for middle and high school students.

The free event will feature classic board games, Nintendo Switch, a giant Scrabble game and more. Participants are welcome to bring their own games.

The St. Petersburg Library System is offering the International Games Day event as part of its Community Development Initiative. The program is a way to enhance resources, services and programs focused on the education, economy, ecology, equity, efficiency and engagement of the St. Petersburg community.
