St. Pete Man Faces Attempted Second-Degree Murder Charge: Police

A suspect is accused of shooting his family member following an argument early Tuesday morning at a St. Petersburg home.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 39-year-old man is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital following an early morning St. Petersburg shooting, St. Pete police said.

According to detectives, a 41-year-old man, Larry Brown, is accused by police of shooting the victim multiple times at a house in the block of 4100 Burlington Avenue North just before 3 a.m.

Brown faces an attempted second-degree murder charge. Brown and the victim are related. An argument between the two led to the shooting, police said.
