St. Pete Residence Inn Opens With Rooftop Tapas Restaurant
The Residence Inn by Marriott St. Petersburg Tierra Verde is celebrating its grand opening.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Officials with Marriott International, Prime Hospitality Group and Shaner Hotel Group have announced the grand opening of the 95-suite Residence Inn by Marriott St. Petersburg Tierra Verde, featuring a rooftop restaurant with 360-degree views of St. Petersburg and the Gulf of Mexico.
Located at 214 Madonna Blvd., the all-suite Prime Hospitality Group-owned and Shaner Hotel Group-operated Residence Inn St. Petersburg Tierra Verde operates as a Marriott franchise.
Situated on the Tierra Verde Resort Marina just minutes to Fort DeSoto State Park and nine miles from downtown St. Petersburg, the Residence Inn St. Petersburg Tierra Verde is directly on a marina with open water access. It offers on-site dining, retail, boating and two pools.

One of the highlights is the rooftop restaurant named Vista at The Top offering tapas-style servings with a Caribbean flair.

Residence Inn properties are designed as all-suite hotels that offer studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Guests will enjoy the hotel’s plush mattresses and crisp linens, a well-lit work desk, ergonomic chair and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite also has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave oven and residential-sized appliances.
Residence Inn has created a décor with a homey feel with organic materials and forms, warm colors and natural light.
Guests are treated to a free hot breakfast every day with bacon and eggs, Greek yogurt, cut fruit or waffles, and personalize it with extensive toppings, ranging from fresh spinach and cheese to sliced almonds and strawberries.

The Residence Inn St. Petersburg Tierra Verde also offers guests a grocery delivery service, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour on-site food and beverage market, dry cleaning services and an on-site guest laundry room. The hotel is pet-friendly and provides guests with business services, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and 1,100 square feet of functional event space.
