St. Petersburg Stabbing Victim Identified

A man was found in a St. Petersburg front yard early Monday morning, suffering from stab wounds.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred along 37th Avenue North early Monday morning.

According to the agency, police responded to a home in the 2800 block of 37th Avenue North around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 10. There they found a man in the front yard, suffering from stab wounds.

Police have identified the victim as Dimetric Quinn Williams, 52. His injuries are described as serious, but not life threatening, police say early Monday afternoon.
