PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — With the new school year starting Thursday in Pinellas County, the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) is once again offering students, teachers and staff free rides on all public buses every day, the agency said in a news release.

To board the buses, they need to show their school ID to the bus operator.

“PSTA has several public transit routes and bus stops convenient to schools throughout the county,” Brad Miller, CEO of PSTA, said. “All Pinellas County students and staff will be able to ride for free, any time, on all routes so they can access jobs, after-school activities or even the beach.”
