Traffic Snarled On Howard Frankland Bridge In Both Directions: FHP
Two crashes, one in northbound lanes, the other in southbound lanes, backed up traffic on the Howard Frankland Bridge, FL troopers said

TAMPA BAY, FL — Two Friday morning crashes — one in northbound lanes, the other in southbound lanes — brought traffic to a standstill in both directions on the Howard Frankland Bridge, the Florida Highway Patrol’s Live Traffic Crash and Road Condition Report said.
Traffic was still backed up around 9:15 a.m., according to the report, which is updated in real time.
The bridge connects St. Petersburg and Tampa.

A fatal crash blocked two northbound right lanes on the Pinellas County side of the bridge, the FHP report shows. Traffic is able to get through in the two left lanes.

A vehicle crash with injuries, also on the Pinellas side of the bridge, blocked the two southbound left lanes on Friday morning with traffic moving slowly in the two right lanes, FHP said.
