VIDEO: St. Pete Police Seek Accused Cigarette Thief

Police are looking for a man they say stole over $1,000 worth of cigarettes from a St. Pete convenience store.

ST. PETE, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a man caught on camera stealing over $1,000 worth of cigarettes, according to a social media post by the department.

Police say on Feb. 1, the man seen in the video stole the cigarettes from the Marathon Gas Station at 3090 54th Ave. S.

"If you know this crook, please call the St. Petersburg Police Department’s non-emergency line at 727-893-7780," the department said.
