Walmart's Free Home Delivery Trial Kicks Off In St. Petersburg

St. Pete shoppers and nearby area shoppers can save gas money throughout April during Walmart's free store-to-home delivery promotion.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — If gas prices have taken a toll on your shopping trips, Walmart is offering St. Pete area shoppers free delivery on store-to-home deliveries until the end of April, a Walmart news release said.

"Now, more than ever, consumers are looking for ways to save on gas and household staples," the company said in a news release. "WMLOVE4U is one more way Walmart is helping customers in St. Pete save time and money."

Walmart shoppers are not limited to grocery items for free delivery. More than 180,000 items are available for delivery, including gifts, toys, electronics, home items, oversized items and apparel, according to the news release.

To get the free store-to-home delivery, use promo code WMLOVE4U during online order checkouts. Shoppers can use this free service a total of three times, for a savings of more than $29, a Walmart spokesperson told Patch.

This promo started April 10 and runs until April 30.
