Woman Fatally Hit By Truck While Crossing 34th Street N.: St. Pete Police
A woman died after stepping into the path of a truck while crossing 34th Street N., St. Petersburg police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A woman was fatally struck by a truck while crossing 34th Street N. on Tuesday night, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.
The 56-year-old woman, whose name hasn’t been released, stepped into the path of a Ford F-150 truck in the southbound curb lane just after 10 p.m.
She was trying to cross the road from east to west in the 400 block when she was hit.

The woman was brought to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The truck’s driver, who was uninjured, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
