3 Accused Of Stealing $7,800 In Cosmetics From Tarpon Springs Ulta
Tarpon Springs police arrested two women and a 17-year-old girl, all from St. Petersburg.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police have arrested two St. Petersburg women and a 17-year-old St. Petersburg girl accused of stealing thousands of dollars' worth of cosmetics from an Ulta Beauty store and then fleeing from police, according to a news release.
At 10:28 a.m. Friday, police were notified about a theft in progress at the Ulta Beauty store at 40960 U.S. 19. When they arrived, police were told the thieves had fled in a silver Mazda sedan.
Officers were able to locate the car and attempted to pull it over but the driver sped away, heading east on Tarpon Avenue as the passengers threw several pieces of cellophane and plastic packaging out the car window.

Officers discontinued the pursuit and, a short time later, spotted the car again and tried to stop it a second time. Once again, the driver fled from officers.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office helicopter located the car and followed it to the Countryside area in Clearwater where the driver eventually pulled over.

Tarpon Springs police detectives used surveillance video from Ulta to identify three people accused of stealing more than $7,800 worth of cosmetics from the beauty store.
The driver, a 17-year-old girl, was charged with grand theft and two counts of fleeing to elude police.
The passengers in the car, Ashlynn Jeaniece Bryant, 23, and Lamorria Regina Hires, 18, were charged with grand theft.
