7-Eleven App Offers Freebies, Coupons

Coupons, sales and promotions. From grocery shopping to vacationing, everyone is looking for a way to save on purchases. 

The same now applies to shoppers at 7-Eleven. The well known convenience store recently announced its new app for smart phones.

The app features daily savings, promotions and coupons to those who download the app. 7-Eleven owner Harveer Randhawa says the new app levels the playing field for stores like hers.

"You get more value from your purchases," said Randhawa, who owns the 7-Eleven in Westchase, located at 12049 White Marsh Lane off Linebaugh Ave.

On a recent day Randhawa was advising shoppers at the store to download the app to save.

"I feel more should take advantage of it," she said.

The 7-Eleven app is free for download on iPhones and Androids. The app is broken down into four parts:

What's In Store - a rundown of daily promotions. On a recent day shoppers could get a free 16 ounce Snapple.

The Goods - Highlights of products like the Big Bite and Big Gulp.

Savings - Coupons you can virtually clip and use in the store. On a recent day one of the coupons included a Buy One Get One Free Sanpellegrino Sparkling Fruit drink.

Find my 7-Eleven - A tool that locates your nearest 7-Eleven store.

Some of the savings only apply to participating stores. So be sure to check if your 7-Eleven is offering the deal.
