Anytime Fitness Undergoes Facelift with Clients in Mind
The Tarpon Springs fitness facility made changes just in time for the new year.
Tarpon Springs welcomed Anytime Fitness to the community for a second time at a ribbon cutting Tuesday after the facility underwent a major makeover.
The gym has been open since 2008, but according to general manager, Hollie Weinheim, the space was in major need of a facelift.
"It was outdated and had to be done," Weinheim said.

Weinheim and owner Doug Naunann put their heads together for the changes.
Improvements include new flooring, fresh paint, a new bathroom and some restructuring inside the building.Β
Offices were expanded, and machines were re-staged for a more roomy experience.

One of the favorite additions is the trendy stone wall clients see as soon as they walk through the front door.
"We really want to make everyone in Tarpon know what we've done," Weinheim said. "It's really like a new gym."
The interior isn't the only improvement to the gym. Anytime Fitness now has a staff of seven personal trainers and three class instructors. The group allows for more classes to be offered and a greater amount of one on one fitness instruction.
All of the improvements were done with the people of Tarpon Springs in mind, according to Weinheim.
"We want people to know that we care," Weinheim added.
