Florida Hospital North Pinellas Earns Prestigious Award
The Tarpon Springs-based hospital recently received a silver award from the national Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Each year, the Healthcare Advertising Awards are held by the nation’s leading healthcare marketing publication– Healthcare Marketing Report.
Competing against more than 4,000 entries from across the U.S., Florida Hospital North Pinellas was awarded for its I Choose television campaign, produced with one of Tampa Bay’s largest advertising agencies, ChappellRoberts.

“As we evolved from Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital to Florida Hospital North Pinellas, we realized there was an opportunity to raise awareness and explain the value of Florida Hospital to patients in Pinellas and Pasco county communities,” said Bruce Bergherm, president and CEO of Florida Hospital North Pinellas.

The I Choose campaign began in late 2012 and features testimonials that showcase patient experiences and the life-saving care people can expect from the hospital. The patient stories highlight how residents are already seeing the difference in Florida Hospital North Pinellas.
“When optimized, narrative marketing campaigns are extremely powerful because they emotionally connect with audiences – they become authentic brand storytelling,” said Colleen Chappell, president and CEO of ChappellRoberts.
For 30 years, the Healthcare Marketing Report has held the Healthcare Advertising Awards. With this honor, Florida Hospital North Pinellas joins the list of top healthcare marketers across the United States.
