Florida Hospital North Pinellas to Host Lights of Love Celebration

The annual event is set to take place later this week and is an opportunity for locals to give back.

On Thursday, December 6 Florida Hospital North Pinellas will host their 26th Annual Lights of Love event, beginning in the All Spice Cafe.

A Christmas tree at the hospitalΒ will be presented. The tree has been decorated with ornaments that have been donated by family, friends and the community in honor or in memoryΒ ofΒ aΒ lovedΒ one.

Presented by the Florida Hospital North Pinellas' Auxiliary Volunteers, the Lights of Love ceremony will include a dedication to veterans and an opportunity for locals to purchase commemorative ornaments that will honor members of the Armed Forces.

The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. Santa and some of his helpers will be stopping by to spread holiday cheer sometime after 6:30.

Organizers are stepping up with a free gift for attendees that can be picked up at the hospital gift shop. Complimentary refreshments will be served while Christmas carolers and live entertainment are scheduled to take place as well.
