Greek America Foundation Coming to Area
The organization's mission is to promote and preserve Greek culture in America.

Gregory C. Pappas, founder of the Greek America Foundation, will be greeting locals at the Cretan Cultural Center, located at 1821 Curlew Rd., in Palm Harbor on Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
The Greek America Foundation was put in motion by Pappas in 1997. The organization has since released a series of publications, programs and events that bring elements of Greek culture, heritage and history to the forefront of mainstream America.
One of the group's main activities is the distribution of its publication, Greek America Magazine. The magazine is the nation's most widely circulated periodical for Greek Americans, according to a spokesperson.
