Labor Day Weekend Fun in Tarpon Springs
From a festival on the sponge docks to a postcard worthy beach scene, there is no shortage of weekend events to take part in.

- Join local vendors for a three-day-weekend celebration. In light of Labor Day, the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks will host an Arts and Craft Festival. Enjoy food, drinks and works from local artists up and down Dodecanese Boulevard. The slew of restaurants and shops along the docks and downtown Tarpon Avenue will also be open for business. Admission is free and the event runs from 10am- 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- Davidson’s Dockside, located inside the Port Tarpon Marina, will host a grand opening event this weekend. Enjoy some delicious grub on the water while live music streams through the air. The entertainment lineup includes:

6-10pm Danny Rodriguez (reggae, country, top 40)
Sunday:
12-4pm Tyson Marhsall (reggae, alternative)

- If you’re feeling like a beach day, visit Tarpon’s own tropical oasis at . The daily parking fee is just $5 and visitors can enjoy sunbathing and swimming. If you’d rather be immersed in nature, tour the preserve with one of the multiple trails or rent a kayak and explore the park by way of water instead.
