Banther has several positions of service within Tarpon Springs. He is a former memberΒ of the Heritage Preservation Board as well asΒ an active part of Budget Advisory Committee. Banther added that he also serves on the Advisory Board for Florida Capital Bank of Tarpon Springs.Β
One of Banther's beliefs is that the city "does not have a spending problem, but a revenue problem."Β Banther says that increasing revenue is key to preserving the city's future.

"I don't have all the answers, but I do know that we need creative people that are willing to ask questions and investigate," Banther said.
