More on Tommy Frain:Β Originally from Oceanside, NY,Β Frain moved to Tarpon Springs in 1993 when he was just 2 years old. He has spent his life growing up in the area and considers it to be his "home sweet home."Β
Attending various grade schools in Tarpon Springs, Frain went on to study economics and earn his degree from the University of South Florida in May of 2012.Β

Although Frain is the youngest candidate on the ballot, he says that his fresh perspective is exactly what Tarpon Springs needs.Β
Frain's involvement with the community includes time with homeless outreach and the Tampa Bay chapter of the Foot Not Bombs initiative and considers constitutional liberties a top priority.Β
According to Frain, his motive for running comes down to economic development and putting Tarpon on the map for businesses and not just tourists.Β
"I want to make Tarpon Springs one of the friendliest cities for new businesses coming in," Frain said.
